Other than of course Georgia then, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, SC, Tennessee and LSU, none of the other SEC schools appear to be represented in our area. I see Clemson tags, stickers, etc. fairly often also.

sounds like atlanta area? a lot of ole miss people in atlanta. friends with a lot and several live in my apartment complex. agree with the rest. also see a fair amount of UNC grads

I know OM and MSU have alumni chapters from coast to coast and MSU even has one in Seoul, South Korea, but I'm not going to make false claims that State is a global or big nationally recognized school. It's like Ole Miss.

i feel like the majority of the ole miss grads are limited to memphis, nashville, and atlanta. sure there are grads elsewhere, but i feel like those 3 cities are the ones where you see the most

I've been living in Los Angeles for 6 months now working in corporate insurance, so its a lot of out of the office, social interaction on a daily basis with General Contractors to agricultural specialists to Human Resources Personal....blah blah blah. Thru work I have crossed paths plenty of SEC alumni and seen plenty of SEC school apparel being worn out here. Pretty much coming in contact with it everyday in some sort....

Also in commercial insurance. Do a lot of wrap ups? Hotty Toddy.

Ole Miss is filled with out of state kids. And the kids Ole Miss attracts from MS are typically those who hated growing up in a shitty MS small town or from the Jackson metro. State gives off a country vibe (not a troll) and I feel like that attracts the MS kids most likely to stay in MS. For the most part, Out of State kids at MSU come from rural towns while out of state kids from Ole Miss come from Nashville, New Orleans, Atlanta, Dallas, D.C., Houston, Charlotte, St. Louis (tons of STL kids at OM)

I think that is true. I grew up an Ole Miss fan in the late 70's and throughout the 80's. I visited both campuses as a high school junior in 1988. Coming from a rural background, I found State much more to my liking than Ole Miss. I actually hated Ole Miss. I couldn't stand the campus or the whole setup. It wasn't the way the people acted or anything, I just didn't feel comfortable. It wasn't for me or my background, and I was the biggest Rebel lover ever.

See all fans of all schools in this area. But in our league? Vandy is the least and Bama or UT is the most.

Southern California has a big LSU alumni presence. Maybe you're not looking hard enough.

Seen at least one of every other SEC school around my part of Missouri except for Vandy.
