I too am surprised by how many "most represented" lists OM is on. It's the 2nd smallest school in the SEC so what gives? Do their fans buy lots of t-shirts, bumper stickers or other items, inflating their numbers? What gives?

The majority of their student body is out of state kids, hence the strong presence around the South.

Durham, NC: I know I'm not in SEC country, but I have seen quite a few schools around. The ones I don't remember ever seeing:

Missouri
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
Vanderbilt

I have never seen a Missouri sticker in Birmingham, other than on I-65 and I assume they were just going to Gulf Shores

Outside of home football weekends, and tournaments, I see almost no one from the East except for Florida.
This is in New Orleans.

What gives is that their posters throw shite like this up and no one gives a shite enough about them to fact check it. Truth is that their are probably several grads from all schools all around you at any given time but they are professional and can't wear #10 Manning jerseys to work.

Im going to go the opposite way and say what I see the most of way out here in Big Sky country since you don't see a lot of SEC representation out here. Believe it or not have ran into quite a few LSU, Bama and Texas A&M fans out here. That's about it, many folks have moved from Missouri out this way but don't see Mizzou representation but again LSU, Bama and Aggies do have a few fans out this way who sport their respective colors.BTW, also just remembered that I have seen a couple of Vol fans out this way.

I rarely see any Carolina

I can't remember ever seeing Mizzou or A&M. Although I'm sure I have.

I am starting to think that there are more Ole Miss alumni outside of Mississippi than in it.

Yep. Most are smart enough to get out of this shite hole. It really is MSU's state and I'm cool with that.

If we could entirely relocate our campus and the square as is to Germantown TN I would be pretty pumped

The only SEC schools I see represented here are OM, MSU, ULSU, and Bama. The other 10 have equally no support in the burg.

I like how you are implying State grads aren't smart enough...it's cute. And I highly doubt more alumni live oos than in state

That would be terrible for football, great for social life. Not only would State become a powerhouse, you would be in a much bigger recruiting battle with Tennessee and Vandy.
