AU left 21 points on the field with dropped passes. More than KSU.

And AU was never in any real trouble. Unlike LSU.

1st game shouldn't be compared to 3rd game. Just admit y'all should have lost but luckily won. it's okay, it won't diminish your homerism at all.

Oh, well color me impressed.

Eta: and your idea of leaving points is not objective. Even if that KSU pic in the endzone was dropped and just not intercepted, they literally watched 12 fly right next to the uprights. You are using best case scenario to say 21 points, when any or all of those drives could have ended with nothing or just field goals. You are ignorant of your own bias.

Bama's win was least impressive. Both Wisconsin and KState were ranked teams, and Auburn played on the road. WVU is a mediocre Big 12 team, and Bama showed no real ability to stop their offense.

Maybe so...as of this moment you may be right, but we won't ultimately know till the season plays out a bit more. No way to tell yet if KSU and Wisconsin will stay ranked throughout the season or if WVU will remain unranked...

The WVU - OU game this weekend will probably tell us more about how good (or bad) WVU is...if WVU pulls the upset or perhaps keeps it very close, then Bama's win will look more impressive...but if WVU gets blown out by OU at home, then it'll look like a pretty bad win...

Lol, if not for Kansas State turnovers, you guys would have been trailing and would have to pull another miracle out of your arse. You got exposed boy.

Should have lost?

We left more points on the field than KSU and still led by double digits most of the second half.

I never had much concern that we would actually lose last night.

All you people see is 'FCS' and you stop evaluating. It's shameful.

I see a team that played poorly against a bad Weber St team, and padded their stats against a team that just moved from Div II to FCS - that wasn't that good in Div II to begin with (Incarnate Word).

Regardless of their #1 ranking in FCS, any team even worth mid-tier status in FBS should not lose to an FCS team by 20 points. Iowa State is just plain bad.

KSU missed 3 FGs and the dropped pass in the end zone.

I'm not sure you can realistically claim 21 points left by AU.

I've seen this over and over again. What points did AU leave on the field? Were any dropped passes in the end zone? We DO KNOW that KSU missed 3 fgs and dropped a td IN THE END ZONE which led to 0 pts. Your logic is flawed.

Dude you really should drop it, for real. KState gave y'all that game. That game should have been 17-0 and y'all would have never over come that margin. Really, quite it.

I love how AU keeps trying to validate their win by saying it was on the road vs a top 20 team. They handed the game to you on a silver platter and should have beaten you by two td's. Just look at the reality of your situation and understand you guys have some work to do if you are going to win the west again this year.

Before the game, Auburn fans said that the ONLY way they could possible lose this game is if they played exactly like KSU ended up playing. So the reality is all KSU had to do was make field goals and catch a TD pass that hits you in hands and chest and Au loses.

True. I'm happier about the way LSU won then I would be if they won the way Auburn did. They (and their young QB) seem to have found their identity in the 2nd half of that Wisconsin game......

.....not unlike the way Auburn found theirs in the 2nd half against LSU last year.

We looked horrible last night. We got some breaks, and still only won by 6. That was the most poorly executed game on offense I have ever seen by an offense under Gus. He also had some pretty questionable play calls. No need to compare who has a more impressive win..because what I saw last night was not impressive. We had the better team by far and the lack of execution I saw from Auburn was unacceptable..if we don't get back in the groove of things SEC play will be hell for us.

Bama only trailed WVU by 3 for 2:40. AU trailed KSU by 4 for 3:22. So no, you are wrong
