really? you're referencing time trailed?

Auburn had 3 points before they had a first down.
You can't even claim KSU's failings on offense were as a result of Auburn pressure.

KSU defense was the best unit on the field. KSU offense was the worst unit on the field. Auburn defense was stout but mostly unchallenged. Auburn offense was exposed as vulnerable to disciplined assignment defense. (Whether or not they will encounter that again in the SEC is another question.)

(this is not a B12 boast, KSU is not indicative of the B12, and is one of the best coached teams in the country.)

LSU also nearly lost, I didn't watch that game I can't compare it. But WVU was merely competitive with Bama, they were a long way from winning.

The road game argument is the only valid thing you said. Make no mistake, leaving manhattan on a thursday with a win is an EXCELLENT win.

A win is a win, but if you didn't come away disappointed with your team last night then you're too much of a homer for more of a response from me. K State played a great game defensively, but wet the bed on special teams (familar theme) and offense.

LSU and Bama were the first games of the season and had to knock the rust off plus UW is a good team and WVU looks like a good team .

I don't know how the season will play out for Auburn but I got to give y'all credit for going into a hornet's nest and finding a way to win. It was ugly as frick but a win is a win. Another big statement for the SEC.

And for someone who claims so adamantly that Auburn is the "big brother" of the relationship, you sure do bring up Bama to compare your team to a lot.

KSU was never a decent team. They barely beat an Iowa St team (32-28) that lost to North Dakota St by 20.

1. transitive property is garbage
2. Lets see how Iowa St does against WVU if you dont like 1.
3. NDSU is a top25 team. I would pick them over 6 SEC teams.

Yet SOS is a key component, which is built on this

I'm fine with that.

All you people see is 'FCS' and you stop evaluating. It's shameful.

I realize you're trolling, but I never felt like Alabama was in any danger of losing to WVU.

Bama definitely did look sloppy though.

LSU vs whisky

No question since LSU won their other 2 games by a combined score of 87-0....but on the flip side, making the proper adjustments and overcoming a 17 point deficit against a team that will probably win 10+ games this year is impressive in its own right.

LSU was most impressive, given that really young team's ability to come back from being down 3 scores and just stop the ranked team they played from doing anything.

Bama was next impressive, since their D was pretty stout.

Auburn was by far the least impressive. They hung on for dear life while KSU fricked themselves on half their possessions, leaving at least 16 points off the board.

That's exactly the way it should be.

I don't think there's any way to seriously believe that a team full of D1-AA athletes are as good as a team full of SEC athletes. OR any other major conference. Are they good enough to beat some of those teams? Obviously so - but to suggest they're good enough to be in the top 25 of D1 football, or better than SIX schools in the SEC is pretty silly.

NDSU has had a total of one player drafted in their entire history.
