UT has an experienced line to say the least, I don't feel like UGA really showed up though and UT was hungry for the win. It's a game that is easy to overlook because while you know what UT is capable of they didn't look to be on the same level as UGA going into the game. UGA was playing at home, put the game away early and let UT sort of sneak back into it so I can see where the missed tackles and giving up a lot comes from.

yards is yards.

Over. Latti is a playmaker. I'll be glad when he goes Pro.

Over, UT has had a questionable running game and they destroyed them on the ground.

Our starting senior DE Abry Jones was hurt last week and only saw a handful of snaps. We had to move our mammoth DT John Jenkins (a future first round pick at DT btw) over to DE, which obviously is not his natural position. In addition to that, it was also MLB Herrera's first start playing Mike LB, which he had to do with Tree coming back and playing Moe. And furthermore, UT's ground game wasn't scary and we were far more focused on their receivers.

This week is the opposite. SC's pass doesn't scare us and we're going to sell out to stop the run. Jones is back, Jenkins will be back to his natural position, and Herrera is more comfortable with his new position.

SC will not rush for as many yards on us as UT did.

A reverse pass that turned into a scramble with 3719733 block in the backs is not the same as the runningback pounding the rock through the tackles.

Can USCe stop Gurley and Marshall from getting over a 100 yards each?

I think they'll contain Marshall, just because they have the best defense we've faced and I don't think he'll keep breaking out 60 and 70 yarders like he has been.

I do see Gurley going over 100 though. Honestly, I don't see any team holding him under 100 this year unless we play bama in the SECCG. I'm not one for hyperbole and am not saying he's as great as this person or that person, but through 5 games you can already see the guy is just really special. It takes multiple people to bring him down and he's always moving forward. When you get as many YAC as he does that always bodes well for 100 yards. And with as many carries as he'll probably get I don't see him being contained to double digits.

Well it will be the first defense you've played so we will see...

you can just as easily say we're the first defense USC has played as well, and those less than stellar defenses Lattimore has faced so far still hasn't seen him be the Latt of '10 and '11.

He's great, and will be productive and will get yards and probably a touchdown. But he's not gonna go for 190 or something ridiculous like he has been. He's simply not the same back.

I understand your argument I think the point they are trying to sell is that he will step up for the big game. We will find out Saturday.

Gurley is the between the tackles guy and Marshall is the outside guy. Marshall is also the guy you want to get the ball to in open spaces where he can take it to the house. They most definitely compliment each other. Gurshall makes me really enjoy saying,......Crowell Who?

First carry of the game Latt goes for 22 yards, Grantham finally loses it and in stead of dropping the F bomb or using hand gestures, he pulls a Woody Hayes and goes on the field to power bomb Marcus, compliments of Captain Insano

Great movie.

Hopefully. We do have a precedent for it. Last time Gameday was here in Columbia, we held two 1st Rounders in check.

We allowed a net of 36 yards of rushing b/w Ingram, Richardson and McElroy. All of them avg'd less than 4 yards a carry.

DANG! 1.4 yards per carry ain't getting him anywhere close to a Heisman.

If UGA's D can do that on 78 carries, the rout is on for the UGA O. That would constitute 95-100% of USC's plays!

Because precedent is relevant in football....

Just like comparing rushing stats from Tennessee game and saying well if Tennessee got that much we will get more! Unlike Tennessee, USCe doesn't have a qb or wr that push the ball downfield.

You're right, Shaw runs it down the field.

The fans have spoken, they voted him the #1 QB in the SEC this past week, on SBNation. Don't tell me it's b/c of USC's VAST national following. People can see he's a winner, you're just homering b/c he plays you next.
