Won't happen unless we bring in Bruce Jenner approved port-o-johns.

Add to that the recent anti-gay law passed in Mississippi. Those schools may be lucky to get bids to the regional in Antarctica.

It's more of a pro - people can't make you do things against your religion bill. And the NCAA needs to stay out of politics.

The Supreme Court will determine that the Constitution does not provide protections for one's conscience. The Mississippi law is blatant discrimination that sets apart businesses owned by religious people from the rest of the public marketplace. It won't withstand a Constitution challenge.

I don't want to live in America anymore. This is stupid. For example if the NCAA were to deny a regional host to school in MS because of this law, it would be denying a service because of the NCAA's beliefs. It would be doing exactly what the bill is protecting and allowing religious people do. Deny doing stuff because they are against it because of their beliefs.
It's all a big clusterfrick.

There are only 3 schools in MS?

I would welcome another chance to play UNC. As long as we actually played them....

The Supreme Court would be incredibly contradictory to determine that it doesn't protect people's conscience, after repeatedly ruling that it does protect people's feelings. You realize that something like 20-30 states have some sort of religious liberty law right?
That being said, the law wasn't well thought out. It should give private businesses the right to deny service to whoever they want for whatever reason. The government needs to keep its arse out of our economy as well as our rights.

Does the NCAA(or anyone else) care enough about college baseball for this to even matter?
Football and basketball are really the only sports that would have any real impact.
Updated:
Apparently Mississippi is already banned from hosting predetermine post season games. Mississippi can't be a host site for a bowl game, championship game, or regional site for March Madness. It wasn't noticed because nobody want to have a post season anything in Mississippi.
quote:
NCAA bans applies to all championship events with predetermined host sites, such as the men's basketball tournament. Events that were assigned to home teams, such as the baseball tournament, were exempt from the ban.
The landmass is in the clear

That's the first amendment, bruh. HB1523 exists to remind gay people that Mississippi doesn't like them.
