With Florida St and Florida being hit with NIL issues and Saban retiring all of a sudden I think there was a bargaining agreement.

Just doesn’t make sense that Saban would duck out so quickly and now he’s nowhere to be seen

Puff puff pass bro, I'm with you though about Saban's abrupt retirement, weird to me if I'm being honest.

Either that or he sniffed around tRant and saw his teams “fans” calling for his head in a year that he won the SEC and made the playoffs.

Saban retired because “ima get mines” became the norm and he wasn’t gonna spend the last bit of his career putting up with that shite, IMO.

Good for him.

Nope. I think it has more to do with too big of a transition in CFB. The NIL, transfer portal, ect.. Saban is already tGOAT. I don’t think he wanted to deal with that big of a transition in the sport at his age. And I don’t blame him.

He knew he couldn’t win the big one anymore. Didn’t want to be the next Bobby Bowden so he tucked tail and ran.

He’s 72 years old, he’s lost a step or two. Let the younger dudes deal with that crap.

Well he’s better than Bobby Bowden no matter what happened. Also Bobby Bowden tucked the entire FSU football tail between his legs, when he chose not to join the SEC. i know you’re trying your hardest to rip on Saban, but you just made a garbage comparison.

So beating the 2 time defending champ wasn't a big one? Weird to put your own team down to try to try to troll your daddy.

Sounds like it was a HUGE event to Bama when the refs gave that SEC championship to the Tide. Beating the Back to back national champs. Thanks for acknowledging Georgias back to back natties. It WAS a huge deal. Georgia should have won that game and the playoffs proved that. But Christmas came early for Bama. That was quite a gift from the refs of the SEC. All it needed was a big crimson bow.

Saban knew what he was doing. Anybody who cares knows how much he hated Alabama and its fans. This was a huge middle finger to the state, the school, and the people.

That's how everyone will always remember it going down.

Show me on the doll, SaturdayNAthens, where BAMA touched you. We're here for you.

Photos and videos prove Georgia got robbed. It’s been going on for years and we aren’t the only ones who got screwed. Bond did NOT catch that pass and that IS how this game will be remembered. Another game stolen away by Bama and the SEC refs.

How bad must he hate LSU to have left them at the alter like a jilted bride, just to turn back up to torment them for 17 years?
