LSU is the 2011 SEC champion in football.
Good for you and congrats, but that wasn't what the OP asked.

Also since that year, Alabama has won 3 SEC championships in football.

I agree 1941 is pretty sad to count, however, back in those days it was VERY subjective.
In today's day and age, it's not.

I bet more people remember that game than the BCS game.
Sure they do.

LSU the only team in the BCS era to be shut out in a championship game. Crossed the 50 yard line once.

In that case, the 2013-2014 season with Mr. Famous Jameis Winston...

Pretty sure that's not what you were going for, as many of us on this board have degrees from more than one institution.

Our last national title in football was 1950.

Our last national title in any sport was 2014 at the NCAA Track and Field championship (individual title- hammer throw). Our last team title was in 2013 (Field Hockey). We are known for mens and womens rowing (Crew), lacrosse, and squash.

Until last year, we had won at least one national title for 43 years straight. We do not have any athletic scholarships.

Beautiful, man, wish I had done it.

It's rustling like the leaves of autumn up in this thread...
