A. Yes it is correct.
No, it is not. Unless 1960 is somehow before 1945

Yeah I was about to say...y'all won the Big 8 outright in 60 and should've been AP and UPI champs.

No one outside the Big 6 has won the SEC since 1962. That's where the Big 6 moniker comes from

You are missing the word "outright." Kentucky has an SEC title in 1976, but shared it. I'd assume other schools have similar titles. As an aside, the 1977 Cats went 10-1, undefeated within the SEC, and #5 in the AP, but were not eligible for the title or postseason.

Retroactively awarded after somebody had to forfeit a couple games.

Didn't count it as outright

You have no real idea what you are talking about...but that is not really surprising.

The 1960 Big Eight title was retroactively awarded after a loss to Kansas was reversed due to Kansas' use of a player who was later ruled to be ineligible.

You will have to forgive him. I think a MIzzou poster rustled him up. This was what the whole thread was about.

You have a conference championship game so you have an outright champion.

The SEC's conference championship game doesn't necessarily provide an outright champion. You can't have an outright champion without playing everyone in the conference.
