Kiffin should buy a ticket.

Nick Saban, regarding comments Lane Kiffin raised Tuesday about the possibility the former OC could be on the sidelines Monday: "That's not even possible, legally, for him to do. ... Those are not things we're interested in pursuing."

For a guy who can call plays, when his mind is into it, why does he have to always lie? And they are always blatant lies.

I mean, my gawd, grow up son.

Well, that would certainly sink the ship of the conspiracy theories.

Not if it isn't really Lane but just some dude that looks like him.

Its a fricking lie. Coaches on UA staff other than Saban are not allowed to talk to the media outside of mandatory interview sessions in post season.

This a-hole is a habitual liar.

Kiffin should just "Bobby Valentine" the game and show up with a mustache and sunglasses.

Lane Kiffin... "Hey Nick, I'd like to stay and work with the team on the sidelines or in the booth during the championship game."

NCAA compliance wouldn't allow it.

FWIW, D. Kannell reported on his show this afternoon that numerous sources told him that when several players approached Saban post game & complained about Kiffin's perceived lack of focus, Saban made the decision to let him go. Saban, when reached later today, stated clearly that Kiffen was no longer with the program & would not be in either the press box or on the sidelines. According to Kannell, the report about it being a mutual decision was strictly a PR move by both parties.

he may be in the box but wouldn't be on the sideline. Basically him and Sark switch jobs.

Don't see how the NCAA could have a problem with this.

I really hope Sark no shows for the game then stumbles on the field sometime in the second half wasted like Shooter in Hoosiers

Why can't Saban just line his guys up and beat people straight up? He has more talent on the bench than most teams have starting yet he always does something slimy like change this or bringing in NFL QBs to run practice.

Is he really that scared of Dabo?
Are you seriously questioning Saban's Process?

I don't know about the rest of you guys but I am enjoying the hell out of this Saban - Kiffin feud. Lane has gone past "thorn in side" status to "ruptured boil on arse" status with Nick and he cant do a damn thing about it.
