Said he may be in the box but wouldn't be on the sideline. Basically him and Sark switch jobs.

If true then Lane not only couldnt coach the players but he couldnt talk on the headset so what is the point of him being there?

I also think this was the plan all along. I was wondering why Kiffin said something about "helping this team win the NC" in his statement after the Sark news broke. It seemed like an odd comment at the time, but now I think he was referring to still being on staff.

Analyst are allowed to talk on the headset with other coaches, just not player. So he could just tell Sark some things he is seeing in the game, like Sark has been doing for him.

It was hard to understand him with his mouth full.

Yeah, and most of the comments Lane made to the press about "not having fun" and "arse chewings" are being taken out of context as well. I watched those PC's and he didn't mean them in a malicious way

Folks' heads are gonna explode when Saban tells them that Belichick will be in the pressbox!

Alabama is tying to clear it with the NCAA

This part can't be true. I've been told repeatedly that Alabama does whatever Alabama wants and doesn't care about NCAA rules. They put however many coaches they want on field and in pressbox without care or concern of NCAA rules.

I know one thing, if the gumps lose the game Kiffin will get the blame.

I would rather that Kiffin go to Boca Raton and watch the game on TV. Enough with the drama on the sideline.

Why can't Saban just line his guys up and beat people straight up? He has more talent on the bench than most teams have starting yet he always does something slimy like change this or bringing in NFL QBs to run practice.

Is he really that scared of Dabo?

Yep, and it only took a genius like you to point it out.

Lane is completely out. Won't be with the team at all this week and won't be with the team Monday night.

Per Sportscenter just now.
