That's a logical thing to do.
The problem comes when they spout radical feminism out of the other side of their mouth's. Of course that's mostly the bitter ones with no assets to cash in.

My guess is he had one of those metabolisms growing up where he could eat anything he wanted and it was still hard to put on the pounds. Since he was an offensive lineman that meant he ate a ton of food to gain a little weight here and there.
Then middle age came around and suddenly that metabolism said "Nah... we're done now. You gain weight if you even look at a cupcake."
I know how it goes for the big guy, if I walk past the meat section in the supermarket I gain a pound now. If I didn't exercise pretty much every day I'd be the white version of Abdullah the Butcher in a year.
