Saban has expressed genuine affection for this team to a greater degree than I have heard him with past teams. If that's becoming more human, good for him. I've enjoyed hearing him talk about how much he enjoys coaching this team.

I just hope that doesnt affect anything on the field.

sure it does. it looks like this Bama team is having more fun than any team in recent memory.

This is absolutely 100% true. Started with Collins' interception to ice the Arkansas game. I loved seeing Kiffin sprint down the field behind Cooper on the opening TD in Knoxville. Can't do that in a pressbox. Signaling TD before Sims even throws the ball. And Saturday, I don't know if they caught it on camera, but when Coker subbed in for Sims at the end, when Sims came off the field Kiffin gave him a big hug.

I for one really appreciate the difference. I do think Kirby has always been like that with the defense. Having Kiffin on the sideline is a huge plus.

edit: cheers to the OP and other Aubs for the nice words about Kiffin.

I have yet to see anyone post a photo of her anywhere in Tuscaloosa.

I doubt the pumping gas thing would be enough to not consider him. folks running multi million dollar businesses tend to have thicker skin abotu such matters. its a little gay to be whining about honestly. its recruiting and we covered that base earlier. not sure the David Reaves incident youre talking about. all I have heard about that guy is he was out with Kiffin & Mike Tomlin getting hammered. he's a grown man. seems like the first shot you'd take would be the wrecking the car load of coeds and leaving the scene or the way he bolted from UT.

I think it all started with that commercial he did about the dress. "yeah, I probably AM right"

To the contrary, it seems like a brilliant move as Kiffen has turned Bama's O from serviceable to prolific.

Where do people get this stuff?

Well, they're not exactly talking out of their asses....

This is the least effective bama offense since probably saban's first year.

...like that.

Besides setting new all time records in pass yardage and total yardage, this team's YPA, TD/INT, and rating are higher than 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011, by a long shot.

That's right...a new all time passing yardage and total yardage record. With Lane fricking Kiffin calling the plays and coaching Blake Sims. That's where we get this stuff.
