Fine, but that doesn't mean I have to like, respect, agree, condone, or support his decision of betrayal. And I don't and won't.

wait, what problem? Clearly LC was welcomed on campus. I don't think some random LSU fan comment on a message board actually creates problems.

I mean, look at how Bama fans react to their own players when mistakes are made (Cade Foster), yet yall are humming along nicely.

Plus, despite outcasting in-state players who leave, LSU still recruits well in-state.

I'm not gonna sit here and badmouth Collins while trying to play "holier than thou" with the gumps. I'm gonna own it. The point is: Collins was a home grown kid who chose a bitter enemy over his home. I will NEVER forgive him for that. And y'all gumps can pretend like y'all would be better if the tables were turned, but you're lying to yourself. I also feel the same way about Dylan, Cam, and a few others who spat in the face of La, and chose frickin bama. To me, they are poison, and I dont want them anywhere near this state or school spreading their ilk and betrayal and wearing it like a badge of honor in our faces while people, Louisiana people, steadily feed their pride and egos by telling them how great they are. That's just validating their betrayal!!! Not me! It may be petty and all, but I can't pretend they don't disgust me... and I won't. We had the best team of all time when Collins shirked us, so there are NO excuses. Forget him, Williams, Cam, Dylan, Hootie, and all of 'em. They Bama Gumps for life and don't need to be anywhere near our facilities!

What am I not following? I was simply replying to the guy above's comment where he stated he betrayed yall. I want you to tell me why he did.

Everything prior to the bolded comment is indicative of a person who has donated zero to the university to contribute to "our" facilities. You're a fan. Not an alum. Not a booster. A fan. Nothing more, nothing less. And your post indicates as much. Nothing in the world wrong with being a fan, but don't act like your fanhood gives you any influence over the decisions of the university.

You said that's the problem. In reality, it's not a problem. Nothing has been affected by that post. You may not like his post or his line of thinking, but it hasn't caused problems.

Just bad phrasing on your part. All good. A more appropriate response would maybe be "I don't like this line of thinking."

This is why LC threads are right at the top of some of my favorites. Grown men, displaying their insecurities, by voicing a sense of entitlement about the future of a complete stranger.

Have you ever heard of hyperbole? That's what I was doing there. His line of thinking is crazy as frick IMO.

But but but Bama fans are the only ones who live through their football program. GTFO if you think somebody going to an out of state school is a decision of betrayal. The biggest problem is you actually consider it one.

That is not hyperbole. It was simply bad phrasing. Hyperbole is over exaggerating something. Not using the wrong words to explain something.

First off, you don't have a clue as to whether I'm an alum, an LSU dad, or what I've donated or been billed from the university. Second, here's an economics lesson for ya, snowflake: every one of the 92,000 seats not left vacant at halftime by current students were paid for by "fans" that you despise so much. Fans who spend loads of cash on team gear, tickets, refreshments, all kinds of academic and sporting events and fundraisers, free advertisement in their windows, lawns, on vehicles, and I could go on and on. If you think LSU would be even a shadow of what it is without all of that, then you are even more stupid than you sound. "Fans" have poured more into the university as a whole than all the classes LSU has ever had. Our facilities are not among the best in the nation because of tuition. They are because of the fans... so, shut up and enjoy what the "fans" have built, princess. And, yes, the fans do have a right to have a voice and an opinion just like we people who have invested more than most on a singular level to the university.

Great nobody hates LSU fans like other LSU fans.......

I assume he is on secret mission for his daddy and master Satan.

New coaching regime do its up to O who he allows to hang around. I personally would allow him near the campus much less in the facility, but It's Os call.

Tut, if LSU would get off a few Benjamins and a Dodge Charger maybe you could keep more of those Baws at home?

Funny how they don't see the hypocrisy. It's pathetic that they hate a teenager simply because his life decision didn't agree with what they want him to do. Now if Collins was committed to LSU for a long time and then suddenly switched to Bama, I could understand.
