Seems like you're the only one whose vag is sore about all this. Obviously the recruits are able to deal with it. Maybe you could send a sternly worded letter to President Clements about how deeply this offends you.

1801...the more you post, the more they will respond. Honestly, this whole race thing is starting to get old. If Clemson was a truly racist place....then no African-Americans would be attending the school. As a Gamecock fan, I understand the back and forth with Clemson fans but we really don't have a dog in the fight. The reality of it is...Clemson is the better program and South Carolina is nowhere near their level right now. Just let them keep running their mouths....one day they will fall and it will be an epic melt.

When it fit, it was almost funny - beat top 5 Miami, then lose to 1-5 Duke the next week. It was excruciating. But when the media stretched it over time to any time Clemson lost, it became ridiculous; no one can go undefeated every year. I'm so thankful Dabo grabbed the mike and fricked that reporter up about it.

No just old enough to have lived through the history you want to forget. Historically the Taters were the tallest midget in the worst football conference from around WWII till the B12 imploded and the B1G added historic powers Penn State and Nebraska to make them look better.
Face it, the best historic team in the ACC in football was former SEC member Georgia Tech with 3 MNC's in the SEC and 1 in the ACC. Their last in the 1990's, long after the Fridge gave the Taters a good year back in the early 80's.

Cheese, I think the disconnect between you and reality is that no one really gives a shite about who beat who 10 years ago, much less 60 years ago in your heyday. Records are great and fun to look at, but no one is losing sleep over the fact that UK beat Clemson ten years ago.

As OP I'm very pleased to have set in motion such a dynamic and long lasting thread that has brought together so many fans that heretofore had never met. I think we really made solid progress in helping our Little USCe Brothers and Sisters (assuming Carolina Girl is actually female) reconcile their recent heartbreaking loss to a basketball school.
