I wasn't bragging about it, nor do I care that we beat Clemson in more sports last year than they beat us. There are plenty of other ACC related boards but none come close to the mudslinging mutual hate-fest that is SECr. Gamecocks and LSU Tiger fans in particular are like some amazing dysfunctional family, that comes unglued every time someone mocks your inept football prowess.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll hang here in SEC country for a spell...better football intelligence than most ACC basketball crowds....speaking of which, perhaps you Kentucky fans ought to hang out with the rest of the ACC basketball crowd. You all have more in common with UNC and UVA than SEC schools since your football program is so inconsequential. Maybe you can invite USCe to join you since they have also dropped serious football and become a basketball school like UK...see ya.

For the most part, it is.
The Lowcountry, Upstate and even some of the Grand Strand are as good as it gets, and extremely different from the other parts of the state and South. Parts of the Midlands aren't bad, but you could be dropped in AL, GA, etc and not be able to tell the difference.
Charleston on it's own makes South Carolina better than Texas. And I like Texas.
