home field advantage takes place when your defense is good. Our defense has sucked. The crowd doesn't get loud when your defense can't stop anyone.

Chavis will be sure to change that.

Glad to see you whiney little toothless, jobless, dirty people can't get over losing him.

Knowing I feel this way? Anyone not wearing Aggy goggles feels this way and the statistics prove it.

I understand the intent of the OP; however, I must play devil's advocate here.
W/L records alone do not fully document the 'toughness' of a visiting CFB venue.
e.g. LSU's Death Valley's record in day games is not as impressive as night games record.

LSU and A&M usually play tough close games no matter where the venue. A&M to me is pretty intimidating and formidable for away opponents, LSU included.

The new and improved Kyle Field should still be that.

Geaux Tigers, however...

Statistics never prove anything.
Rather, they support an argument.

For clarification's sake, I'll expand on my previous comment: I couldn't care less what you or anyone else think of Kyle Field.
To me, it's perfect.
Have an enjoyable weekend.

You're correct. Since 2012, it's record against ranked teams is perfect, if you're an opposing fan.

And to clarify, nobody asked you how you felt about KY Field. You were told it's the most overrated venue in all of sports. And it is.

Tigers, do you feel like Kevin Steele is going to need a couple of years to get players that fit the system he ran at Clemson, or will he be able to produce Clemson-level results immediately?

Haven't heard Mr. Steele say what system he will run at LSU, but if he has half a brain, he won't tweak it to much. This is where y'all get screwed up. We have the talent for top level defense, even without a great DC. Y'all do not. Since we out recruit y'all every year, that probably will not change. So, to answer your question, he will probably need a long time to lower our defense to a Clemson or A&M level. Hopefully in that time frame he can figure a few things out and become at least as good MR. Chavis.

I'm fairly certain he's alluded to the fact he doesn't intend to change much (I could be wrong on that, though). I know he wants to give different looks as far at blitz packages are concerned.

Not concerned about Steele. LSU has a stable full of defensive ponies A&M would pay dearly for. The problem that A&M will soon realize: those studs didn't make it to LSU by way of Chavis' recruiting acumen/ability.

I like this because it has layers. Kentucky field, KY Jelly Field, Kyle Field. Excellent usage, IMO.

I think with LSU's current defensive talent, which doesn't require as much scheming, he'll play to the strengths currently on the team, while recruiting the players needed to put his "twist" on what we already run.

masking a few problems in year one will be enough to go from 8 wins to 10.
