I was just asked about Chubb (after happily discussing Fournette's game) and my reply was:

I'll let "you" pick one of them and I'll be thrilled to take the other.

Both are outstanding. Yes, as you, I am a "homer" so I prefer LF. But, as said, i'll let someone pick first and be thrilled with the "left over"

So either he's the best RB in college football at breaking tackles

It's this. He can run over, around, or through defenders. It's kind of hard to tackle a guy like that.

I'm pulling for both of them, though biased to Fournette, to break the "Heisman reserved for QB" fad this season.

He has to be considered the Heisman front runner at this point in the season.

Agree

Will be fun to watch him and Chubb both make their case over the rest of the season though

LF is 12th in the nation in rushing yards and tied for 3rd in rushing TDs.

And he has played one less game than everybody else, with both games being against SEC teams.

Correct. I meant more that it would be great to see them on the same field. Always a treat. Chubb on the sideline? We get to see Fournette! Fournette on the sideline? We get to see Chubb. Never a dull moment!

Absolutely. In that scenario...."Everybody is a winner!"

While Chubb has had his share of highlight reel runs, Fournette truly had some "Heisman moments" this past Saturday. he had 2-3 breathtaking runs. They will both get their share of great "WOW" moments this year and either could be worthy of the Heisman.

Fournette was an absolute monster Saturday and he was incredibly fun to watch and seems like he is destined for greatness. I do think LF will have the better stats at the end of the year due to our seemingly much better passing attack and spreading things around our playmakers a little more than LSU. We are all extremely lucky to be watching these two studs running the football

I think Fournette and Chubb will both be invited to NYC. They will cancel each others' votes out and some chump QB like Trevone Boykin will win it.

Not only has he played one less game, he sat out the whole 4th quarter against a very tired AU defense. As stated here, just hoping both players can stay healthy & get a full season in. One thing to consider: Fournette is only a soph & LSU's OL could return as many as 4 starters next yr. plus a lot more depth.

I love watching Chubb, he is just so fluid and smotth. I am usually pulling for UGA

That's great! I have to admit, I had my doubts about LSU this year, but Harris looked solid, too. If he can just give you average QB play you could win the West. (And possibly a lot more) I figure it's between LSU, Ole Miss and Alabama, with A&M being the dark horse. I bought in on A&M early the past two seasons, so I am playing wait and see for now with them.
