They absolutely test 40 times in college. Just like they max out in the weight room. They test the L drill, they pretty much test everything at least twice a year.

I crowned him the best? When? I said he's better than Davis, IMO. Just throwing in my opinion, that is all.

Well in the last season he played, Davis was the best back in the SEC. In a league that included Lattimore. So he's better. Davis was in fact first team all-SEC, so he was actually 'the best.' And Davis did it against better teams.

If you think Latt is better than yeah, you're crowning him the best. And from what I've seen that's not the case.

Right, in-house. They don't test them independently again until they go to the Combine.

As this thread shows most SEC fans agree as do the SEC coaches.

According to total yards, no doubt. I don't think that's what the OP was asking though...

Lattimore is the better athlete. I'm sorry. You just aren't going to convince me otherwise.

I was afraid to try their tacos due to how cheap the price was but they were delicious, especially after getting a little something from the bar.

So you think Rivals goes around and tests all the kids they evaluate or are those "in house" as well. The main difference in college and high school 40's is they laser test you in college and do a handheld test in high school. I have a ton of respect for Latt but he isn't as fast as KD.

I'm keeping my opinion out of it. It wouldn't make any difference anyway. I just want to know what the rant thinks and see what happens.

Hell, billions of Chinese say some things are great to eat that I wouldn't touch. But I'll eat almost any Louisiana cuisine. I'm just aksing...

Not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying the Rivals sites and the Combine eliminate in-house bias by using the SAME equipment and SAME means on ALL athletes.

But they'd still have the same constant and variable, therefore eliminating any bias.

Again, his 40 time was higher. Until I see them in a foot race together, then that's all I can say to you...

Lol at judging anything on Earth by a thread on TD.

Second, I keep seeing this coaches' poll like it's the only one out there.

So 4.43 to 4.58. That's what I had originally thought, that Davis' 40 time was higher.

I guess the Yahoo/Rivals site is wrong then? That's the one that most of the recruiting rankings are based off.

I'll be murdered for saying this in Columbia, but I favor NC BBQ better. Vinegar >> Mustard
