I believe it. Dobbs is legit, he has given Bama problems two years in a row. Plus you've got a LOT of talented young WRs. Hurd can lead your ground game, and you've got some pieces on D.

Only thing is Tennessee enters with a given loss--Bama, in Tuscaloosa.

Then there is Arky, almost there.

Georgia's recruiting class is loaded, as is South Carolina's.

Then there is Florida in Gainesville.

I just don't see it.

1. Georgia
2. Missouri
2 South Carolina
2. Florida
5. Tennessee

I can understand the excitement over Dobbs, but a 5-5 South Carolina team is still Tennessee's best victory all year. Using the same logic tards on here use about Auburn's victories, you could easily come to the conclusion that Tennessee was lucky to win that game

Maybe the dumbest post of the day. Congrats. USC has no QB with experience next year. Good luck with that. OH and you've lost 2 in a row to Tennessee and have to come to Neyland next year :)

Tennessee could have won it THIS year. The East is like 5 meth heads fighting over the last hit.

Typical Tennessee comeback. Never any logic.

I think the Vols will be quite a bit better next season. I am not sure I equate better next season to SEC East title. I think the Hogs will be better next season and I am not ready to crown them just yet for the SEC West.

I mean the East leader's biggest win this season is to a 4 loss A&M team. If UT was in the West no one would be talking about them contending for the division title. But, alas, they're not, which makes their road much easier. If Tennessee, as young as they are, manages to win out and finish 8-5, they absolutely have reason to be excited about next year and be thought of as serious contenders in that division.

I am not picking on Tennessee, nor am I stirring in crap. I honestly believe if by some miracle Georgia finds a quarterback to go with the receivers it has coming in, the Dawgs will be able to give the Gumps all they want. That class is something else. South Carolina turns one of their top receiver recruits and they don't even bat an eye.

Plus Florida has the players, make no mistake. It is going to be a long time before Tennessee ascends the summit it occupied in the 90s.

I think Tennessee will be in the conversation next year. UGA, Tennessee, and Mizzou are going to be your pre season favorites. UF could easily jump into the conversation with the right hire. There's a lot of talent on that roster.

USC and Kentucky will be your next tier, with Vanderbilt playing their role as the divisional whipping boy.

I was just looking over the USC depth chart, they'll be replacing a QB, the entire left side of their OL, the starting tight end, and their RB(assuming he declares for the draft).

That's a lot to overcome.

I do too. But I also think with that schedule 8-4 or 9-3 is the best you can hope for.

Carolina will not be arm tackling next year, count on it.

South Carolina will not beat Tennessee next year or finish above Tennessee in the standings.

It is laughable to think otherwise. Jmo.

9-3 could win the East next year.

I think that is about where TN will finish next year.

@UF, @Missouri and @Bama will be tough.

all the other SEC games are W's to me.

USCe has had a down year this year, but I'm not ready to write them off... even with the personnel losses they will have.

I'm just talking about the young talent they have and how I think that talent will develop.
