No serious football person gave UGA shite for losing to Texas in strictly football terms.

We beat the #3 team in the country that some in the media predicted would win the National Championship. (Yeah, I agree. Alabama until somebody else does it)
We dominated their offense, which is not easily done.
For a first game with a ton of injuries, I will take it.

You should tag a team that doesn’t have to score 40 points as elite. Looks like 20 points or less will be enough to get to the playoffs with this D.

Georgia’s win over Clemson seems to have rattled a lot of cages in the SEC. Envy, Jealousy and more than a little fear are pouring down like the rain from Ida. Just wait until we get our injured players back. They are going to lose their freaking minds

Their defense looked very legit. Offense looked like crap but that may be cause Clemson has a good defense too

Yep so UGA essentially won their 1st playoff game. Another Bama vs UGA is likely. If UGA loses that game, UGA will still be in. I could see it like this depending on the SECCG.
