I do believe you are making reference to Southwest Georgia.

The coach is not paid by the state but is technically a state employee. No caps for funding from private sources.

I googled how long the drive was, dipshit. Posting the number of miles doesn't discount driving time. Lay off the meth.

No dumbass, I have driven all three routes and that the time is based on 70 miles per hour on 4 lane highways. Do the math. (PS- I am guilty of drive 80mph at times, so it is actually shorter than what I posted).

Also, google time is dependent on when you submit your request (day and time). I think the base it on the traffic flow during the time you requested.

But you can’t put it in a contract for longer than 4 years, and unfortunately these coaches don’t go off pinky promises.

I don't think any of this shite will matter to Kiffin... the dude is rich enough to hop on a private plane if he wants to go somewhere.

The towns of Oxford and Auburn themselves are pretty similar but these really aren't comparable.

Sardis, Martin - Memphis, Atlanta

Sardis looks like a reservoir with no lake houses that you have to pull your boat to and launch it. Memphis isn't a destination metro. Nashville is the closest to Oxford... I'd personally rate Nashville>Atlanta...

Side note why aren't there lake houses on the lakes around Oxford? It seems like they're totally undeveloped?

Do you mean capitol?

It depends on whether he means the city of Jackson, the state capital, or the building which is the state capitol. I assume he meant the city. But yes Jackson does have running water, at least for now. And the capitol also has running water.

I guarantee the biggest change to his contract isn't the salary... they're trying to add a larger buyout

Probably should have thought of that sooner.

How is that possible if there is a state law cap.. Are they going out 30 yrs? OM going the F350 financing route ?

Public schools pay the coaches below those caps. So the coach will get a paycheck from the school for like 200k or whatever much lower amount.

Every school then has a foundation associated with the school separately. That foundation is funded by private donations and that is where all the millions of dollars come from that pay the contracts and amounts you generally hear.

Any OM fans a little down about that tweet? It basically says “he has an extension on the desk, let’s hope Auburn doesn’t offer”.
