A.J. Green is leading the SEC in catches (41), receiving yards (682) and touchdown receptions (6), but Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin has found a flaw in the sophomore's game.

Kiffin was asked this week to compare Alabama's Julio Jones, who has 13 catches for 175 yards and a touchdown, to Green.

"Julio is more physical," Kiffin said. "Both really dangerous, both really big, can go up and get the ball. A.J. has a tendency to run out of bounds with the ball. Julio finishes his runs and is more physical."

Georgia coach Mark Richt was asked after Tuesday's practice about Green running out of bounds. "Oh, really?" Richt said. "I didn't really notice it. Julio might want to run a guy over more than A.J.

I don't have a problem with him. It's kind of like a QB. Sometimes I'd just as soon have him step out and make sure that he can come back the next play. I don't think he's scared or anything. Maybe it's wisdom rather than fear."

Kiffin just tells it like it is. Green is more dangerous, but Julio is more physical.

Kiffin's arrogance this week, nonchalantly calling out all these East teams while "innocently" praising Bama and its players, actually is friggin' mind-trippin' me big time. I keep feeling like he's extremely confident about the game Saturday....

Get out of my HEAD Kiffin!!

I can go with that. Reggie Wayne always runs out of bound and falls down after catches, but he is still a top 3 WR in the NFL.

i have noticed this with all alabama players. they NEVER go out of bounds. this is the main reason why i have enjoyed watching them this year. they are scared of NOONE. Ingram will not run out of bounds..he is always tring to get another yard and that is how football should be played. physical. dont be a bitch and run out of bounds.

Of course, I think he has been telling our players we will beat Bama no matter what just like he did the week before the UGA game. Confidence goes a LONG way in CFB.

They are the most physical Bama team I have seen in a looonngg time. Relentless domination is Saban's style and it is proven when you watch this team play.

Saban is too smart to fall in any trap of complacency or The Team.

Kiffen is "Pandering" hoping he can somehow Show he's going to be nice. Pure BS!

Bama looked very very complacent against an outmanned Utah squad. Whatever the case, the good guys will win this one. Both Kiffins are smarter than Satan. We may be out talented, but we won;t be out coached.

I'm glad a non-gump was the first to jump on that comment...I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Well, the running out of bounds thing is something Kiffin harps on. Early in the season Bryce Brown hauled off a big run and then ran out of bounds at the end and Kiffin was mad that he didn't "finish the run" on his show the next day.

You fricking retard. Saban can't hold Monte's jock and was dominated in the NFL. Monet has excelled at all levels. Monte Kiffin pawns Saban. Monte is an NFL legend while Saban is an NFL afterthought.

muhhaha, you would prolly take saban over chizik. Face it, we hate bama because we are Tennessee and they are Bama... Auburn hates Bama because they wish they were bama.

Face the facts, Saban sucked in the NFL. He couldn't run with the big boys.

It's also not accurate.

AJ had a 65 yd TD vs Vandy, about 50 of it was YAC. He didn't "run over anyone", he faked them out and ran past them.

AJ had a 56 yard TD vs ASU, atleast 20 of it YAC. He stopped on a dime, gave the DB a nice push to the side and outran the crowd.

AJ green isn't as physical as Julio, but Julio isn't catching passes or scoring TDs like AJ either.

Kiffin is just trying to mess with Bammer.

Coach Richt pretty much sums up my perspective. Green, as a WR in a struggling dawg offenses, has 5 times more yardage than Jones; he must be doing something right. Of course Bama really doesn't need to pass the ball when you have the running game they do.
