Will take a strong coach. Who?
In addition it would make sense for Texas to hire a younger coach than an older one. Mack Brown was in his late 50's when he took the Texas job and and DKR was in his mid 30's. Akers was about 40 and and Bible was in his late 20's (but that goes back 100 years or so) so look for somebody in their late 40's or early 50's with a history of player discipline and probably already coaching / winning at a Big 5 + Notre Dame type school.
With Southern Cal still under sanctions there is no way they risk double secret probation with Bobby Petrino. Remember it was not that Bobby was having the affair, it was that he was doing it with a state employee. If Long canned Bobby then no way is a west coast school in a town filled with Gloria Allred type attorneys going to open themselves up to a sexual harassment lawsuit that will be filed in a California court.

They want Mullen? They can have him.

No SEC coach will be approached. If it is a College coach it will be Petrino (no NCAA issues). Look for them to go after Jeff Fisher.

Mark Richt to Texas would be great hire. He is not doing anymore at UGA and still one of the top coaches in CFB. He would be scary at Texas. Strong would be my 2nd choice for Texas.
Gruden to USC, but I could see Sumlin, Petrino, Tuberville and Franklin as names on a list in that order.

This, but I just can't see USC running the HUNH/Spread.

Imagine the meltdown in Knoxville if USC calls Butch Jones

Southern Cal honestly is the one team I've said I'd be concerned if they came after Saban. We can match anyone's offer when it comes to money, but Southern Cal has the celebrity factor to go with the climate, and let's face it, Nick does have an ego the size of California like all great coaches. California might have something Terri likes.
You're right. We should fire Saban so as to beat him to the punch. That SoCal liberal jerk....we'll show him!

Guys, Hugh Freeze is a girl's basketball coach, remember?

I would want to go to USC if I were Saban. I would look to retire in Malibu or something.

Joker Phillips is available as long as he has access to Microsoft Paint.

I could see that but I think St. Louis has stockpiled quite a bit of young talent. If they show some improvement, I think he will stay in the NFL.

How do you know kiffin is gone by seasons' end?
Posted on 9/9/13 at 7:50 pm to TopsInAmericaTim
If you're going to be inflammatory, it's probably best to check your spelling. The word you want is "sowed", not "sewed". And I don't think anybody is interested in Coach Myles.
And yes. I am an a-hole.
