I'm no A&M supporter, but don't be delusional. If Sumlin leaves, it won't be for Florida.

Is that why two of your last 3 hires have been defensive coordinators with zero head coaching experience?

Because Muschamp is arguably the best defensive coach in all of college football, has had a top 10 defense every year at UF, was the coach in waiting for the best job in the country (and your big brother), the University of Texas, and because Foley put the trust in him to find a top offensive coordinator to go along with his mainstay top 10 defense. If CWM's offensive coordinator sucks, Muschamp will be fired. This is bad news for Texas A&M, because when Florida comes calling, coaches answer. And Kevin Sumlin will be the next head coach of the Florida Gators.
Check mate.

If Muschamp is fired, it will be because our offense hasn't cracked the top 100 in the nation under his tenure, not because of the defense.

It will be because he wasn't a good HC. There is nothing Summlin can do at Florida that he can't do at aTm.

he's so good at coaching D that Florida lost to an FCS option team in Georgia Southern that ran for 429 yards and threw just 3 passes (completing none)

Money would likely be similar, the reason to jump to Florida is the same reason Malzahn would consider it-- a chance not be little brother and coach at a state flagship (for TAMU, there's also the whole chance to win a national title thing too).
