Sorry, not a fan. Chizik had better defenses under Tubs. We will agree to disagree.

Also, Will Muschamp is THE most overrated "defensive guru" I have ever seen. I personally think the dude is a mental case.
I could not disagree more.

Steele has done a great job. I laughed when he got the job, but I was wrong.

Wasn't he the Baylor HC when they lost to UNLV by sheer dumbfrickery?

Scenario was something like Baylor was up 4 with 5 seconds left and had the ball at the UNLV 1. Instead of taking a knee and ending the game, he tried a running play to send a message to his team. They fumbled and UNLV ran it back 100 yards with no time left.

No doubt about it. Muschamp has surprised me too thus far.

The DC that blanked your team until he put in the backups last year, cause the score was 35-0 at halftime.

It's only a matter of time before he melts down.

At S Car, the defense as yet to show much improvement. Yes they beat NC St., but look at the stats, they were shredded. One of the most misleading final scores I've seen...

Muschamp and TRob have done a great job in squeezing everything out of a threadbare situation that they inherited. Lorenzo Ward and Jon Hoke left absolutely nothing for the new staff to work with. That Carolina has even been competitive on defense is all Muschamp.

But you wouldn't have figured that out from looking at a box score, so I'm not surprised you didn't know.

We'll see.

I have more faith in the defense than I do the offense.

I thought the hire would be a fricking nightmare.

This has been such a great surprise.

Yeah, you could see improvemenr under Muschamp.

Muschamp changed the attitude of the defense while bringing in some good players. He brought us back to being physical and fast.

Muschamp definitely deserves some credit by bringing in almost all the talent you see on our defense. He changed the culture in the second half of the 2015 season and our defense has been pretty good ever since. Steele has done a remarkable job so far considering our QB and offense handcuffed him in half our games last year. Steele is widely recognized as one of the most brilliant defensive minds in college football. Just look at the guys resume, you don't het to coach at pretty much all of the top 15 teams ever if you aren't legit. That said, Steele's history of over complicating schemes and having mental blocks can't be argued. I have been impressed so far and am cautiously optimistic for the future.
