Guy's stock was pretty low leaving LSU and getting shitcanned at Clemson.

Kind of shocked that our defense is playing so well under him the last two years. Last night was some of the most disciplined football I've seen Auburn play on defense in years. I've got friends that still attribute this surge in our defense to talent Muschamp brought in, but that's not it. The fundamentals are finally there, something Chizik's regime absolutely destroyed.

Going to be interesting having him head back to Clemson for this game.

I think he is pretty much universally respected. No bad blood at LSU. Quality man.

Agreed!

Also, Will Muschamp is THE most overrated "defensive guru" I have ever seen. I personally think the dude is a mental case.

Disagree. He's the one who started us on this path whether you recognize it or not

crazy how Dooley was apparently wanting him to replace Wilcox, and then that can of whup arse was handed to clemson by wvu. Then he had to go with sunseri.

Damn, Dooley, just had the worse of luck timing wise.

Well he has only had great success with Nick. At Texas, he couldn't get them over the hump but Chizik could. At Florida, we know the story. At S Car, the defense as yet to show much improvement. Yes they beat NC St., but look at the stats, they were shredded. One of the most misleading final scores I've seen...

What? He has been successful pretty much every where he has been. His defenses at Auburn were probably my favorite under Tubs.

This is just all kinds of stupid. The most glaring being saying his defenses at Florida were not a success.
