Yes I do and here is why.
Chavis got fat and lazy in every way at LSU. He did not want to go out and recruit when we needed him too.
Chavis had enormous talent at LSU and yet he could never win the big games for us.
Chavis panicked in close games and allowed teams to drive on us in the closing minutes by changing what got him there. ( example the Bama and A&M games).
Those things alone signal we needed a change at LSU and there is a reason that Saban asked Steele to stay at Bama.

LSU asked Chavis to stay. Even flew up to his house the day before he resigned.

It's pretty hard to convince someone to turn down the opportunity to make more for doing less. Even harder when the other parties' expectations are a few inches off the floor.

Fair enough, but with Chavis you're gonna need some 5 star corners.
His defense is not about blitzing and creating pressure as much as it is about great coverage down field.
Just a quick look at your last few classes and I don't see a bunch of high caliber corners.
That's the biggest obstacle I see for trying to implement Chavis's D in College Station.

How is that making shite up? Every Ag on here would be ecstatic with a top 50-75 defense. Those are lower expectations compared to his previous employer.

I was obviously being overly generous. No way A&M will be top 50 in defense without a running game to keep them off the field.
