Portis is legit. He will get his - he has experience on his side.

Guard play will be the key. We have too many bigs to not get points from Lyles, Towns, Willie or Dakari.

He just had 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks while playing with the flu. He had a double double in one of the games against UK last year. Pretty sure he'll be on the floor.

I'm talking about fouling out.

did you purposefully ignore this?

iow, it's not like we have to beat them to make the tourney.

it's just a game against a good team. sure, i hope we win because i'm a fan but it's by no means something that's going to bother me at all if we don't win- in fact you're due against us. as far as seeding, yes i can see how it could change that but overall it won't make or break our season or keep us from the tourney.

We were not what I'd call a "good win" last year.

uhhh, okay, not sure how to reply to that without offending someone- whatever you want to say because regardless as i stated above it didn't do us any good to beat you.

Why don't you check and see how many times he's fouled out this year.

Bc he did this last game in the final couple of mins means he's fouled out a lot this year...I got it.

Not Arkansas. Kentucky will see that game as their last real threat to lose and will come out on fire.

They could lose to any team, but i don't thin they will.

Arkansas may give them ago.

UK is so deep this year that they can have 3 5 stars have an off night and still have 3 other five stars having a good night and win. its nuts.

Piggilicious, you don't have to dodge it. We were garbage last year. It was one of the worst teams in the last 20 years. We just got hot in the tourney.

That said, I think yall are underestimating the importance of seeding and how much easier your road becomes every step up the seeding ladder you take.

Ideally, if we were UK's match, a win in regular season and a win against them in the SECt would probably put us firmly as a two seed.

Dude, Portis only averages 2.1 personal fouls a game.

You're being stupid again...

You should do your homework before you post....and look "awkward".
The games he's FOed were mostly against formidable post players....think Kentucky qualifies?

He's an idiot...I give.

I honestly can't remember 3 or 4 foul outs this year. I remember this last one when he had the flu and within the last couple of mins. Oh my goodness...woe is me.

That's fricking insane. I'll admit to my ignorance of Hog bball; does he play any defense, or is he just incredibly good at avoiding fouls?

I watch every game. I know my Hog basketball and frankly, I don't give a frick about looking awkward. Really? You're a dumbfrick.

You don't remember, because one was against North Texas and the other was against SMU in the final minute after he scored 22 points.
