Yes, you're correct. A player who is a finalist for national player of the year doesn't belong on the court. Brilliant
Do you think that Portis will finish the game on the floor...or bench?..just curious.

If they lose, I think best chance will be in SEC tourney. Calipari doesn't put a ton of importance in it, just wants to prepare for NCCA at that point.

Nobody has a chance, they are determined to finish out unscathed now

This. They will likely get a team in the semis like LSU/A&M/UGA who have to improve their resumé to ensure their spot in the tournament.

Normally I'd agree, but he's got a legitimate chance to make history here...and he's the type of guy who'd relish doing it!

Ark/UGA are the only real shots, although I think they win both.

Arkansas is better than us, but it's in lexington and UK should be 100% focused on them. UGA has a shot because it's in Athens and we SHOULD be fully healthy, unlike when we played them close in rupp.

But like I said I don't think they'll lose until the NCAAT, if at all.

most of us have said that we think we'll lose.

in reality, this game won't really mean much to either team as far as postseason is concerned. iow, it's not like we have to beat them to make the tourney. we beat them twice last year and it didn't do shite for us so i don't see why this one is such a huge deal personally.

Really? That game was fool's gold. UK would beat LSU 10 out of 10 times.

No, that would be Alabama.

LSU would win at least a couple at home.

Keep showing how dumb you are though.

This.

Don't think we'll be real embarrassed if we lose.

C'mon man, can't you be more decisive than that? Let's wait until after the game to determine "dumb", huh?

That goes without saying, but LSU ain't beating them either...y'all need to go back to concentrating on predicting Nat'l championships in football and baseball, and leave basketball alone.

A lot of the national pundits think Arkansas is the only SEC team that can beat Kentucky. Plus it's a CBS game.

Arkansas or Georgia

I like Arkansas. Fan of Qualls, I just hate their rantard fan base that posts here.

Georgia will be a tee-shirt sellout etc etc..and likely have everyone healthy to play. They are very athletic.

I mean... you really don't see the difference? We were not what I'd call a "good win" last year. This year, we would be. It could improve Arkansas' seeding and help them gain a ton of confidence going into the tournament.

He just had 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks while playing with the flu.

He had a double double in one of the games against UK last year. Pretty sure he'll be on the floor.

An Arkansas win over UK would probably only bump us up to a 4 seed, maybe a borderline 3 seed.

I'm fine with a 5 seed, but would rather have a 3 seed knowing you don't have to face a 1 seed in the sweet 16.

If we lose, I doubt we fall in many mock brackets.

So I can certainly see her point, and yours as well.
