Based on a squeaker against UF?

And Kentucky is regressing ?!??

UK can win this game... They are better on D than LSU cause they actually understand the concept of form tackling and the Tigers still haven't quite figured it out .... Plus, LSU has been pretty awful in the kicking game and this will be the type of game where special teams play has a huge say in who wins... It'll be close.. LSU won't cover.

This is because of the win over a done UF team?

Because besides that, theres nothing from this season that could even be confused as improvement. LSU's offense is still terrible, even by LSU standards.

I like this matchup in our favor. Mismatches I think all over the field.

I'm very confident we win by 10-14 points.

We've got a far better coach guiding the Cats now. He showed that last week by refocusing them after that shitty first quarter against ULM.

Kentucky is much improved. I think this game could end up being a lot like the Florida game. If LSU runs the ball in the same fashion that they did against UF, they will probably take care of business. UK is still underrated and they could take the East. It's wide open.

Don't know if the OL is that good

Legit line…probably the 2cd/best unit on the team with the WR's and DE's.

We have speed, and the studs are young and to dumb to know they are suppose to lose. They are expecting to win this game.

Besides the freshman RB and maybe your LB, where are the mismatches?

Kentucky is stacked. They bring in top 5 recruiting classes year in, year out. They have a championship winning head coach. They almost won at Florida, so they are best in the toughest road venues. I think Kentucky rolls big in this one.

KY has a shot to win...but, the other poster is right. We have improved in some areas. The lines are playing much better and if we just tackle better on ST (which is easily fixable) we beat the Gators by atleast two tds last Sat. KY has had some tough times stopping the run against good runnning teams, and it not good news for them that LF is coming on when he is. This team is extremely hungry to show they can compete in the West and the game is at home where I believe a rowdy crowd will be ready to go. If we take care of business the way I think we can, I find it hard for KY to pull this out. but, that's the beauty of football, you never know what will happen

The West loses 2 games to the East this week. UK and UGA carry the East banner this year.

Reality: LSU doesn't lose at that magnificent stadium to unranked teams. Throw the cover of night in, and the task looms larger.

UK Homer: I like coming in, playing with house money (so cliché), and really having nothing to lose. We have already exceeded any win total that all of the "experts" in the media predicted, or the Rant "experts" predicted at the onset of the season.

The pressure on LSU has to be enormous. I'm hoping that weight, along with pathetic QB play, cracks open the door enough for an unlikely and unexpected win in Death Valley.

I hope everyone is safe and has a good time. It's on my bucket list - I'll get down there for a game one of these days!

This game will show a lot about Kentucky, lets be honest, this schedule doesn't really do much for me to say they are the "real deal"

UT Martin (2-5) WIN
Ohio (3-4) WIN
Florida (3-2) LOSS
Vandy (2-5) WIN
USCjr (3-3) WIN
UL Monroe (3-3) WIN

Kentucky's opponents have a combined record of 16-22.

LSU game will show us a lot.

Kentucky is good this year. Mobile QB. Couple good WRs. And defense playing like a legit SEC D.
