This'll work. It's a simple matter for him to disqualify all four teams and let UK, as 5th-8th runner-up, back into the tourney.

I'm pretty sure that's Big Blue Nation's strategy. It's...it's the only thing that makes sense.

Just the basketball version of Bama fans. Nothing to see here.

In all fairness, any neutral observer could see Kentucky got a complete screwing in the first half with the majority of the awful calls coming from John Higgins. I cussed him like a dog. Having said that, the death threats are ridiculous and there is no place for that.

Speaking of referees named Higgins making terrible calls that cost teams games:

This happened right in front of Tim Higgins on a potential game-tying shot with 2 seconds left. No call and Sloan was thrown to the ground. UCLA won by 2.

A&M wins and they play 12-seed Western Kentucky then potentially 3-seed Xavier for the right to go to San Antonio.

Yeah, but Higgins and the NCAA knew that UCLA would bring much higher TV ratings and $$$$ so.....

First half? If U.K. would've hit their FTs in the first half they would've cruised.

UK fan set me straight ^^

I have not seen the game yet because I was working at game time and have not gotten the spirit yet to watch my DVR. However I saw today on Twitter a video that was assembled that showed numerous bad calls and no calls most of which were in the first half.

Adebayo was called for Goal Tending twice and both were bad calls with the ball out of the cylinder on an offensive tip in as verified on replay per announcer analysis, not mine. The first play Adebayo did not even jump above the rim because his arm was extended.

UNC player tripped Monk and sent him flying and no call, again showed on replay.

Defensive rebound goes long and uncontested to two UK players without a UNC player within 10' and phantom foul call on Willis for over the back. Again nothing on replay.

Last play of first half Fox drives the lane and is fouled forcfully on the torso and arms by two defenders and no call, verified by replay.

UNC has had level 1 violations pending for years but no punishment. Duke's player (Corey Maggette) received $75K in benefits while playing for Duke and not even an investigation. Kentucky has received the toughest draws and been under seeded most years since Calipari became the coach. The same corrupt ref officiated the Arky/UNC and UK/UNC games and plays a huge role in UNC advancing. The NCAA is unbelievably corrupt and SEC teams should leave the NCAA and govern their own league and championships. Enough is enough.

When were they underseeded? They've been a 1 seed 3 times (2010, 2012, 2015, deserved all of them), a 4 seed once (2011, deserved it), an 8 seed (2014, deserved it) and a 1 seed in the NIT. You think they should have been a 1 this year?

All this could have been avoided if Rupp hadn't shot JFK and/or Pitino hadn't been silenced when he had indisputable evidence that Duke was using alien technology in their jockstraps. The world is such an unfair place.

No point. We don't have these problems because we pay refs off in advance. UNC's checks cleared... where was Ashley Judd when Higgins needed an a little extra love.

The total number of fouls is irrelevant and a lazy way of looking at it. Look at who the fouls were on and when they occurred or didn't occur. Sometimes one team commits more fouls than the other. The proof is on tape. If you think neutral observers like Jay Williams, Mike and Mike, Bill King, Chris Childers, Seth Greenberg etc. are all going to say Kentucky got a terrible first half whistle and there be nothing to it, then I can't help you. How about this, this fall when you come on here bitching that LSU didn't get a blatant pass interference call against Auburn at a critical point in the game, I'll point out that the total number of penalties for each team was the same so you have nothing to bitch about.

Not a Kentucky fan, but if you watched that game as a neutral observer and didn't see the bad calls that led to them "bitching" you don't know shite about basketball.

Least surprising news I've heard all day.

Kentucky fans and Arkansas fans are going to be crying about refs for the next few months I guess.

He's not a neutral fan. He's an UNC/LSU fan.
