That's what I suspect.
But our offense is legitimately pathetic.

We have young receivers with the dropsies.
We have an OLine that can't run block.
A good back with a bad ankle and a host of bad backs.
0.5 of a tight end.
And a young unproven really good QB who will play sparingly and an old proven QB who has proven he can somehow win games while throwing awful passes, bailing on non existent pressure, throw a great deep ball, a high heater to a receiver 5 yards away and pivoting and running to the sideline.

Mizzou 20
UK 13
ETA: Mizzou D scores

I don't know it.

I think UK bounces back and plays better on offense. I agree, Missouri has a good defense, but UK played so poorly last week, I think they play better and put up some points.
As bad as our offense has been, I think we are better than Missouri's so I do expect UK to win a close game.

I am cautiously optimistic. I would not be surprised if our defense scores more points than our offense.

That's about what I expect. I think the oddsmakers have the right of it. Cats by 3 or 4.

How have you guys defended the WR screen?

I expect we are going to throw a ton of them on Saturday.

I agree. I think the Cats win this one in a close game.

This game has a very similar feel to Missouri SEC road games the last 2 years.

Most outsiders seem to think the home team will win. Home team slightly favored in Vegas. Missouri comes in and wins. Everyone said Missouri only won because the home team sucks.

I'd expect a similar story Saturday.

That was the story for every Mizzou SEC game except Vandy last season. We played the hottest teams in the country six weeks running.

You have summed up Mizzou's SEC existence in one post.

This is why I'm not really getting wrapped up in the whole "REPLACE MAUK!" and "WE LOOKED TERRIBLE AGAINST ARKANSAS ST. AND UCONN!".

Last year the team looked terrible at times, especially on offense, and still found ways to win the majority of games. Mauk always comes through when it matters and the defense is good enough to keep them in most games. So until "ugly" starts translating into losses, I'm not worried.

Well, Florida actually did suck, and I think I remember Missouri beating them by 100 or so points.
