ku had the best team in the country that year imo

we were good as hell. in that game against ucla we missed something like 18 lay-ups and dunks. naturally plenty of those were contested but i do remember an uncanny amount of missed bunnies that game.

wish we coulda played florida in the tourney. beat them on a neutral court early in the year and a rematch in atlanta woulda been perfect for me.

if thats the case, why does syracuse have only 3 losses on the year

Because most teams can't do either of those things on a consistent basis. They also rarely have a big man who can pass the ball well.

its more the volume 3pt shooting. louisville takes a ton of them, and when they are making them they can beat a lot of teams, especially teams who stupidly sit in a zone when they are getting lit up

yeah i agree. i was definitely not being serious. thing is, in a sample size of 4 games, a team could definitely get hot from outside and pretty handily beat syracuse like louisville did.

in the last 2 games, you're gonna play good teams that will be able to win without being ridiculous from three.

Thank you for telling us how to beat EVERY fricking basketball team.

They run a 2-3 zone. The big man keeps them from just being able to get out and hound the three point shooters. Hence the need for the big man to open up the threes.
