I have never seen a team as good as UK completely lack the ability to put a team away early. They take huge leads early all the time but always seem to let their opponent get back into the game.

im starting to rethink my prediction of uk in the final four. they just dont seem to have "it"

youd be one the late arrivals to figuring this out. not saying they can't make it, but after watching their games against teams that are really pretty average, i dont see it.

and yeah i think they are pretty below average on defense. once they get a team with talent that can match them, i don't see them hanging.

that's true and that's basically why they just won't win a national title. they won't even make the final four because they suck on defense and will drop one to a team with less talent, but knows how to play.

you cant just say that. it will all depend, as usual, on who they draw
i think they would beat a team like kansas state, nova, etc
but they would seriously struggle with teams like syracuse, any big ten team, etc
honestly, i dont think uk wont win because of defense, i think they wont win, bc over the past couple of weeks, they have been an absolutely TERRIBLE shooting team from outside

I think Nova would run all over them. K-State is a maybe.
Cuse would kill them, Kansas would do the same.
But I think they will lose before they would face those guys. 2nd round EXIT for the Cats.

i think a k-state match up would be dangerous for them. they could definitely win though. i see them losing by like double digits to kansas and syracuse though.
i also would be very confident in ohio state and michigan state beating them.
