i meant to say "could" in my OP. yea, early returns are that making it a half court game is the best way to beat you guys. I know not groundbreaking analysis but it will happen more often than not i suspect. I expect A&M to lineup big and play alot of zone.

We play the local schools to support their programs. We usually play Transey, NKU, and now Asbury the 1st or 2cd game of the year. And anyone else question we don't play anyone in basketball, please check out our schedule.

We can actually hit the outside shot this year and we have bodies in the paint.

Relax Michael, we all know UK is the supreme ruler of SEC basketball and y'alls out of conference schedule is tougher than the other 13 teams.

quote:
NAIA is pretty much like playing against a decent high school team.
UK has routinely played D-2 or NAIA teams in exhibitions to help support those local ADs. But given that it's just outside of Lexington, it's likely someone in the AD has strong ties to UK's AD. Pretty much everyone does it in exhibition games.
Kentucky's actual OOC schedule is tough enough as it is between UNC, Louisville, Michigan State, and UCLA all in the Top 20. Add Arizona State as well as "cupcake" teams like Stephen F. Austin (advanced in the NCAA tourney in 2014 and 2016), Valpo (a tourney team in 2015), Hofstra (2016 NIT team), etc. So really no reason to load up the schedule anymore than it is in the OOC.
The outrage over it is silly honestly.

They made $20K for the exhibition and they are using the money for new scoreboards.
It's an exhibition.
We're talking exhibition.
lol
