Looks like we are good. Unlike some in the conference, we are kicking the shite out of our rent a win.

No reason to, they're mostly kids who grew up as Kentucky fans and it's an experience of a lifetime for them.

That being said they're style of trying to get up 90 shots a game is going to result in an ugly final score to say the least.

Asbury is pressing full court and subbing 5 in, 5 out in an attempt to wear the Cats down. So far the strategy has been ineffective.

Score aside, this is a great experience for the Asbury kids. I would guess most of them grew up in Kentucky and playing in Rupp will be a great memory for them.

UK is up by 100 now. And I'm not being sarcastic.

It's really not fun to watch, even though it's an exhibition game. Not sure these kinds of games help either team.

It's a 20k check to Asbury's AD. And that'll cover some decent costs.

The big thing was for them to work on how to defend the three. That's pretty much what Asbury does.

True. But defending the 3 against a 5'8" kid vs a 6"6" SEC players is a different thing. But like I said earlier, it's cool for the Asbury kids to play on the Rupp floor.

Asbury cut it to 97 at the end. Final 156-63

Blame the NCAA. They're the ones who restrict who you can even play in these things.

Why not play a D2 school? NAIA is pretty much like playing against a decent high school team.

Baylor's AD was wondering if they had a football team?

they are ridiculously athletic but it looked like 3/4 of their points were in transition. a team like izzos catch them early, slow it down and beat them.

UK plays Michigan State on the 15th, so we'll see. This early in the season, everybody's a bit green and it'll be interesting to watch some of the elite matchups.

I don't think Michigan St. could keep it close. We'll see, we play them the 15th.

I agree. To be beat down by almost a
hundred points in Rupp will be a fabulous
memory they'll no doubt share with their
grandchildren over and over.
