subbing in different players doesnt affect a shooter's rhythm. subbing everyone out potentially prevents players in rhythm from staying in that rhythm. or it can prevent players from getting into rhythm.

cal has already talked about working with the platoons because of this and maybe keeping a player or two in for longer stretches when hot/creating match up issues/foul trouble.

but a strict platoon system absolutely 100% affects rhythm.

Agree to disagree then. Cause I disagree.

each individual player is always playing with the same guys.

***barring injuries, of course.

Sorry you weren't smart enough to pick up on the context.

Oh, I thought it was because I couldn't read?

Because, you know, you never said that.

Do they teach writin' where you're from?

You couldn't. You didn't. I did say it, but again, you're too dull to really understand what was going on. Does that happen often? I guess probably not since you live in Arkansas.

Cal says that lack of a "motor" in a player is the first thing NBA scouts look for in a potential draft pick. He also said Kentucky had no energy in the 1st half. He will be bringing this up a lot between now and Saturday

Hey, they'd be up 15 on them Gators. Slow white boys who can shoot and play solid fundamental basketball. Kentucky's bigs will wear them out in the second half

Considering we just blew out the better of the two from the Ivy League, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that would not be the case.

I believe it. So many talented players have been busts because they don't bring that intensity. It's the reason why people should have known Cousins would be great. Dude made some mistakes, but he played his arse off.

Well. This game thread seems contentious. Everybody chill. We played terribly, without two players, and beat a team by double digits.

Correct answer

Playing the old Princeton system

UK will pull away to win this down the stretch

Correct answer as well

Cats too deep and Columbia too thin.

That's a load of crap if I've ever heard it. They care about one thing and one thing only - athleticism. How many Stromile Swifts and Hasheem Thabeets have to be taken in the top 3 picks before people stop buying this nonsense?

Playing for Kentucky has zero effect on anyone's draft stock. AD would have gone 1st if he played for Western Kentucky. The Harrisons are atheltic and have great size, but neither one is particularly skilled or fundamentally sound, and playing at UK hasn't changed that.
