The week before ECU played Florida, they rushed for 192 yards on 33 carries against Towson. Yet it is Towson, but ECU's running game isn't so bad that -13 yards rushing isn't an impressive statistic.

I won't argue that this stat isn't impressive. Regardless of what team you go against, FBS or FCS, negative yards are always impressive.

So we'll just go ahead and ignore then that UK's combined opponents in 4 games have only thrown 1 TD....

Clearly, these passing games are all created equal...

Never thought I'd see a coach tear our program apart to such low levels in such a short time frame.

No one is scared. UK is no doubt improving and we are rebuilding. Should be a good game.

I guess you ignored where we rank in the conference In red zone defense.

Are you trying to tell me that you would take New Mexico State's QB and WR corps over UL-Lafayette's QB's and WR Corps?
And are you trying to tell me that you would take ECU's QB and WR corps over South Carolina's QB and WR corps?
Are you accounting for the competition that they're going against? South Carolina has at least played 2 straight P5 teams, so the jury is still out on their passing offense, but I hardly think that their personnel is inferior to East Carolina's.

Yes, considering their performances so far. Check the stats. NMSU's passing game has been WAY better. Their issue has been defense, not offense.

EASILY. South Carolina's passing game outside of Pharaoh Cooper is a fricking joke.

Looking at stats, and the eye test, South Carolina's passing offense has been pretty bad.

I don't look at UK stats. What are you talking about?

I'm not particularly scared of KY. I'm scared of the mindset of the FL players. I think we have better players, and we have a better coach, but the midset isn't there. We still have a lot of Muschamp psyche.
I'm also concerned that the streak is so long. 28 is massive. We are bound to lose one game.

But it should be a competitive game. I'm interested in seeing how disciplined our players are going to play. And is our first road game.

Go Gators!

Just my opinion, but UKs win over South Carolina says more about how far the Gamecocks have regressed than how far UK has risen.

Well then what did last year's win over SC mean?

Gator assholes are puckering hard on this one.

eta: And let's not forget just how far the Gators have fallen, either.

If UK builds a big enough first half lead they could blow florida out this year. Thats just reality.

Florida:

4 touchdowns allowed

5 passes for 25+ yards allowed

Florida played one of the best passing teams in America last week and did so without its 3 of 4 secondary starters

I didn't call you an a-hole. I said your a-hole is puckering. Learn to read.

Should be a good game. I've seen plenty of games where stats are irrelevant. That's why they line 'em up and lace 'em up on the field.
