always loved listening to Keith Jackson. he made mistakes to, they all do. but he also made the whole experience better. cant say that for verne. what i do like about gary is, he says when he's wrong about something. rather than covering it up, he just admits he guessed wrong and goes on. just happy there wont be a female in the booth. nothing ruins a football telecast worse than a female in the booth.

Franklin was one of the best. Gottfried was the original Lou Holtz...with that slurred speech thing he had.

I have no problem with Verne. He kind of makes me laugh with some of the stuff he says. Plus he was on Happy Gilmore. Can't hate on that.

I love Keith Jackson. I miss hearing his voice on Saturdays.
While I hate Verne for football games, you have to admit he is one of the most exciting college basketball announcers out there. If you had him announcing with Dickie-V doing color, you have to drink 10 redbulls just to listen.

I don't understand why everybody in the SEC hates these two announcers. I personally don't mind them at all.

I think Gary knows more about football then most coaches do.
I think the two are fair.. they don't usually favor one team more than the other.
I guess I am a homo for liking them.
