I've never seen a fanbase troll another fanbase over a hurricane and the devastation it left the state. Never.

Until last season when LSU fans were nonstop about it. You would think of all of the fanbases, LSU fans would be the most sympathetic to postponing a game due to a hurricane.

But nope. Your fanbase just kept on. Making jokes. While there was devastation in Florida, and we were lucky it wasn't worse. Your AD is a dick for holding our game hostage knowing you had no chance to win the west while we had to play the game to win the east.

Karma is a bitch and I hope it keeps on.

I hear you, but I'll respectfully disagree on some things here.

Good win though, Singer and Faedo are nasty.

Oh, you mean that time when South Carolina got hit by a small hurricane and the only football game in America that was canceled was in Gainesville FL?

Where the team coincidentally had injuries to their entire DL... Yeah, we're the pussies?

Gainesville had sun. They didn't even get rain from the hurricane. You looked liked fools. The fact you're bringing up devastation of the mild hurricane that pretty much stayed in the ocean, shows you're disconnect from reality.

Do you see purple Ls when you close your eyes at night?

You're worse than the Aggies when Chavis left.

You can keep thinking all you want that LSU was responsible for the "hurricanegate" but UF dropped the ball on that.. Its not like the hurricane appeared in Florida.

This post is spot on.

I've noticed LSU fans choose to ignore the way they acted over the hurricane game. Everyone from their AD to beat writers were relentless.

I don't think anyone rationally thought games 2&3 would be a cake walk but conceding game 1 and using our best pitchers the next two games was our best strategy.

The fact that we lost game one wasn't devastating because of this fact but game 2 was never a given. At least in my mind.

That's a perfectly reasonable position to have taken, it was just drowned out by the more numerous, loud, & obnoxious LSU fans talking shite 24/7.

I wonder how many of the CWS threads posted the past few days have ended up revolving around a fricking hurricane or fan attendance instead of the actual games?

Congrats on the win. If you want to talk trash, call back when you have 6 of them.

It had nothing to do with the hurricane itself, it was the fact that your administration straight up canceled the game days in advance without even trying to come up with a contingency plan AND THEN wanted LSU to cancel a home game weeks later to make up for yalls incompetence.

Not even close to being spot on. LSU has handled multiple games affected by hurricane scenarios much better than what Florida did. Its the reason LSU fans, reporters, administration, etc... were easily able to spot how Florida pussied out of playing the football game. And, as others have stated, somehow, the only game that was cancelled was the one in sunny Gainesville. All the "karma" in the history of mankind won't change that. STTDB

If the team and the fans, some fans from across the country, were going to make the game Saturday, they would have traveled there at least by Friday if not before. I'm pretty sure there would have been some pissed off fans to travel for nothing.

edit: And forecasts were in fact for severe weather and possible hurricane. I remember this because I have a beach condo in Florida and watched the weather all that week.

I've never seen a fanbase watch their team lose Game 1 and then basically laugh about it as though it was a little gift for UF before LSU came in and stomped them Games 2 & 3 as though the trophy was already heading back to Baton Rouge.

How dare fans remain hopeful to win a series after having to pitch John Wholestaff in Game 1. We should've been more upset. Sorry that made you so butt hurt.
