Ever since Hurricane-gate, Florida has owned LSU in everything except gymnastics (they barely beat out gymnastics, but congrats anyway).
They kept talking shite like they were absolutely going to win the CWS finals. Instead, Florida finished 4-1 over LSU in baseball alone.
Maybe LSU fans should just be quiet for a while.

I've never seen a fanbase troll another fanbase over a hurricane and the devastation it left the state. Never.
Until last season when LSU fans were nonstop about it. You would think of all of the fanbases, LSU fans would be the most sympathetic to postponing a game due to a hurricane.
But nope. Your fanbase just kept on. Making jokes. While there was devastation in Florida, and we were lucky it wasn't worse. Your AD is a dick for holding our game hostage knowing you had no chance to win the west while we had to play the game to win the east.

I've never seen a fanbase watch their team lose Game 1 and then basically laugh about it as though it was a little gift for UF before LSU came in and stomped them Games 2 & 3 as though the trophy was already heading back to Baton Rouge.
ETA: This isn't about being personally offended or having thin skin, it's just a classic example of, if you wanna talk shite that's fine, but you better back it up. And LSU fans talked SO much shite even after losing, only to get swept by UF for the 2nd time this season.

It had nothing to do with the hurricane itself, it was the fact that your administration straight up canceled the game days in advance without even trying to come up with a contingency plan AND THEN wanted LSU to cancel a home game weeks later to make up for yalls incompetence.
Meanwhile EVERY OTHER SCHOOL in your state and on the east coast found a way to play their games that weekend.
Idk why I'm even bothering, youre just gonna play the victim card like a lefty from the west coast.

I don't think anyone rationally thought games 2&3 would be a cake walk but conceding game 1 and using our best pitchers the next two games was our best strategy.
The fact that we lost game one wasn't devastating because of this fact but game 2 was never a given. At least in my mind.
