Per 247.

Seems like a good hire. Has K-State at 10th in the nation in PPG (37.6).

Good pick up ags. apparently he’s turned down both Penn St and Notre dame recently. Also apparently both schools have denied they’ve reached out so take that for what it’s worth

This is a great hire. He might only be at A&M for 2 or 3 years but a great hire nonetheless.

I remember they played Arkansas his junior year in the Cotton Bowl. The final moment of glory before the flagship died in a motorcycle crash.

He was runner-up to Johnny Football in heisman voting, too.

I can’t imagine what the conversation between these 3 must have been like.

Collin: “My girlfriend and I are waiting until marriage.”
Manti: “Wow, you’ve actually seen your girlfriend?”
Johnny: “Y’all got any blow?”

no idea how good of a coach he is, but this dude was so annoying to play

Didn’t look all that athletic, didn’t have the strongest arm, but dude just made plays and got it done, and always was falling forward just over the sticks

super intelligent football player imo

I think it will be a good hire for them

Solid hire. I think ultimately he’ll end up back at KSU as their HC after Klieman inevitably gets snatched up, but in the mean time, I’m looking forward to having him lead the offense, especially his work with QBs.

Probably the youngest staff we’ve had in a while.

Yep. The youth movement is the exact opposite of what Jimbo was doing.

Yes. Hated playing them when he was there.

I'm sure Weigman will for sure stay healthly next year running QB power 15 times a game.

ran on 524 attempts for 50 TDs in a 2 season stretch and didn't break down, tough as nails.

Their starting QB averaged 6.75 rushes per game, and that includes scrambles.
