Dude went 26-2 as a starter on one of the best defenses in college football, wins SEC championship, and national championship. Whats with all the hate against him?

OK.
Woodall was maybe a bit of a weak link at times but still a good player, being a weak link on a great D is not that bad. The next guy is always going to be better. Unless he's not.

Woodall was too bulky and horrible in coverage and took poor pursuit angles both years he started. The Alabama defense was elite in scheme, but not in personel. Except for McClain, Arenas, Cody, Jackson, and Barron non of the starters will be NFL players. Anders, Woodall, Reamer, Washington, etc were all good roll players.
The defense will be much more elite in personel next year and will not have to rely on the scheme as much. Especially the front seven with the return of hightower and Dareus and company taking over at D-line.

isnt RG the one who blew the coverage on one of the only 3productive plays for Texas on offense. He was looking for safety help when Barron was blitzing the qb correct? If that was his fault I hope he learns the safety cant help and blitz at the same time.
