In fairness here's what your coach said:

@DavidSPaschall: Richt on last week's close call over the Vols: "Time is going to prove that they're a very good football team."

I was making fun of their reasoning more than their opinion, which they are obviously entitled to.

I'm not buying that for one second, but there's no question we're headed in the right direction.

Absolutely. I'm sick of playing you guys already.

Seriously...you have a young, talented team that plays hard for 60 minutes. That will take you a long ways. Next year you will be taking payback on a LOT of teams. Your schedule holds you back this season.

And he's right. You have a very good football team this year. But NEXT year you will wreak havoc. I dread playing you guys next year, and I'm glad we got out alive this year.

Well, I appreciate it. I just don't troll. I say what I think. And that is what I honestly think about Tennessee.

I will always think we can win....you KNOW I am a disney. BUT, Tennessee ALWAYS plays us hard and close. I don't enjoy playing them, and next season we go there. Do I think we can win? Sure. But I don't look forward to playing them.

He said they only lost to UGA by 3 which showed they are a great team and on equal ground with UGA who is the supposed best team in the East

This is the stupidest fricking logic ever. While they did come within 3 of UGA they still lost. They matched up with UGA way better than most teams (Our secondary couldn't stop a girl scout from passing on us). I would say the rest of the teams they play in the East will have better secondaries. They were also coming off a Bye week, which meant even more time to prepare than normal. There is just too many factors that go into that UGA game than this bullshite. They could run the table, or come out and get curb stomped. If the SEC has taught me anything, its for GOD sake don't count any game as a 'W'. To make such accusations is just dumb.

We'll lose two starters in AJ Johnson and Justin Worley, and two significant role players, NB Justin Coleman and RB Marlin Lane, to graduation.

We'll absolutely need Dobbs or one of the freshman to step up at QB, but I think our D and rushing attack should be able to carry us back to relevance.

Losing Worley could hurt more than anything. He really came on strong after last season. For some reason you guys come up with great wide receivers, but can't seem to land a great QB. Seems like one would come there just to throw to those WRs.

Anybody young QBs got talent?

What the frick does that make us then? We certainly aren't a "great" team.

Dobbs. We're trying to redshirt him this year which is why Peterman took those snaps when Worley went out. Dormady won't be ready next year but he's been great his senior year of HS. Jennings is a possible QB and a possible safety - great athlete and like Dormady very likely won't be ready as both will be true froshies next year.

I heard this last year. Not just about UT, but lots of teams. There is no next year. Players leave early or get hurt or just don't perform.

TN will hopefully go 7-5 and it will be a fantastic year given the youth and the loss of all starters on OL and DL.

Let's not go crazy though anything more than that with our schedule would be insane to remotely expect.

247 updated his classification from athlete to QB. He's the number 6 dual threat prospect, and number 88 overall, nationally.

LINK

apparently, he's looked really good throwing the football this season.
