He looks much faster than 4.5. I don't see a linebacker running as fast as him.

Linebackers RARELY run a 4.5 Von Miller ran like the second fastest 40 for a linebacker ever in the combined and he was barely in the 4.5s. Most linebackers are in the 4.6 to 4.7 range.

bro anything in the 4.5s is elite speed for a qb. Cam and Vince were high 4.5 guys

He's quick, just not blazing fast. He can stop/start and change directions, and has great body control. Not great straight line speed though

His size (5'5", 200lbs) might make him "look" faster than he is.

I'd bet he's mid to high 4.4 range. but I bet his 10 and 20 yard splits are insane along with his short shuffle. His acceleration is outter-worldly.

With the balance and body control this guy has I'm pretty sure he's a ninja.

Either that or he's got some kind of other dimensional shadow step where it looks like he's stepping one step but it's actually two and your mind fills in the blanks. He's actually doing a short teleport.

He's quite possibly one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Can't argue that. He gave just about everyone fits.

I think he looks much faster because he gets to top-end speed in a step or two. There are no doubt faster straight-line runners, but his juke reminds me of Barry Sanders. And yeah I know that's BS, but damn... the guy is sure shifty. Glad he plays for the good guys.

He's a perfect example of how I don't give a shite what a guy's 40 is. Manziel plays the game faster than anyone else on the field regardless of 40 or shuttle times.

Frankly I had just made the comment about how his running reminds of him as well. Obviously Sanders is a level of his own and did it in the NFL, but I was thinking the same thing.

Great points. Would be interesting to "clock" how quickly he gets to 10 & 20.
