Now that was an angle I was not aware of. How does this deal with stub hub work? Does auburn get a portion of the tickets money to allow their tickets to be sold there or something?

The one where you said

yea, its fear. that's the ticket. we sooooo scared!

It will simply mean more money in the pocket of the ticket holder. I fail to see how that will translate into more direct money for the university. I suppose there is a small possibility that that would MAYBE cause someone to donate a SMALL amount more to the university the following year but that is a long shot assumption at best.
More like, if season ticket holders feel their seats don't have as much value as they pay due to subsidized student tickets in the secondary market, then in future years they are less likely to get season tickets.
Really important for us right now as we stick it to season ticket holders to pay for the Kyle upgrades.

That's a pretty big stretch when we are talking about this only happening for a single game. If this was a matter of several games or the entire home schedule, then I could give some credence to your argument, but not 1 game.

It is the biggest A&M home game ever.

not sure of exactly what they get. but the essentially have a portal for season ticket holders now to sell their tickets through your log-in on the donor website to sell on stubhub. whereas you dont even need to send the tickets anymore as well, they print off. This is actually new this year, as far as, through the donor portal

This is going to make prices for the game skyrocket further because it takes 31k seats basically out of he pool to sell. If Johnny keeps his eligibility I may just have to tell my friends to suck it and sell my 7 decent tix I have for the game. I could probably buy a truck with that money at the rate they are going to continue to climb in value.
