Not if they are dating someone that doesn't attend the university. The girl I dated through most of college went to a different school than me so I had to get student tickets converted for her to attend games with me.

It's not about being fair, it's about a single game the entire season that the school is doing this. Only 1. Sounds like fear to me IMO. The gf stuff is a side note at best.

It may have escaped your tiny mind, but that isn't the point of the thread. Your animated gifs are clever though since you obviously don't have the ability to come up with something on your own.

thats good to know. I was going to try to run up there with a cousin of mine that is coming in from Alabama. I was thinking about trying to find a single. I might still run up there and just watch it in a bar.

This is the only game where tickets in nosebleeds are going for $400+. Again, students are getting subsidized prices for these games and this is just something to stop all the students from trying to sell their tickets for profit.

M's student tickets are on our student IDs, so you can't do this anyway.

Auburn is the same way. not sure if its the same way now(as I dont venture to that side of the stadium) but they also gate off and give wristbands to the students.

However the gate people dont really look at the ID photo. At least they didnt a long time ago

No, but season ticket holders selling their seats will with less competition. Which means more money next year for A&M.

not sure about other schools, but auburn has a deal setup with stubhub on resale. so the schools are definitely looking out for the season ticket holders and reselling

It will simply mean more money in the pocket of the ticket holder. I fail to see how that will translate into more direct money for the university. I suppose there is a small possibility that that would MAYBE cause someone to donate a SMALL amount more to the university the following year but that is a long shot assumption at best.
