You take yourself way too seriously, bro. If you can't take back on forth on an internet message board you need to re-evaluate your life.

The opposite of literally everyone's opinion.

Maybe 6 years ago. As I said, you clearly haven't been to BR lately. Its getting better, especially downtown, Perkins overpass, and Government street. Nobody over the age of 22 with half a brain goes to TigerLand.

My life is pretty darn good. Much better than I deserve. And much better than what I would have ever expected considering where I came from.

Bottom line, stop being so clingy. Let the relationship develop naturally. Who knows? We may actually grow to like playing the outcast lil bro of UT.

I don't think anyone expects you to "care" or not care.
It's a football game.
Here's to a great match-up--I know we're hoping that the winning-minded part of our schizo-team shows up tonight.
Happy TG.

The only time I've been was last year. Most of the swamp kittens friends and acquantices are my age however, and they've experienced College Station for Chilifest and the game two years ago, and they feel the same way.

more bars

You mean the three bars you have in a strip mall like a mile and a half from campus that all you people love? Lol. LSUs bar scene is far and away the worst I have seen at a major university

No one really deserves anything. My success is due to my father's hard work, the greatest state in the greatest country in the world, an incredible University, and good old fashion luck.

Not if we start beating you so routinely like last time. You used to love playing us when we were a small all-male military academy, but in our current incarnation we whipped you so thoroughly you hated us.

And every single LSU fan I know thinks the same thing. We are the 5th biggest school in the country. Our bar scene is pretty good.

Went to the bar that the former President of Pi Kap(sp y'all's greek shite is fun but super lame sorry if I offend y'all by now knowing the proper spelling) took us too. "Papa Frat" as he was known is a good dude and loves to party.

I mean we have 20-25 cheap college bars right across the street from campus. It's pretty fun, I think most large state schools have something similar as well. LSU is the only one I've seen that doesn't.

We stayed downtown last year for the game and walked around twice and it was completely empty

I went to LSU and have no idea what 3 bars you are talking about. BR has a great bar scene and they are all through out the city, not just one area. Louisiana cuisine is world renown but I'm sure this Dixie Chicken place I've never heard of is much better.

Which sucks because your city also does not have cabs. No college kid or young adult wants to go to one bar and just stay there

Yeah, I just did the hard working thing. Turned out pretty well for me though. Senior field grade officer (commissioned in 91 - you can figure out what that means), USAWC graduate, BN command (x 2) and BDE command (currently). Married nearly thirty years. Two great sons.

But I don't want to take myself too seriously.

It appears that France counts military wins using the same methodology as Bama counting MNCs.
