EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET A F***ING CLUE AND REALIZE PITINO AIN’T COMING. IF U ALL TRUELY BELIEVE THAT I WANT SOME OF THE SH*T YOU ALL ARE SNORTING. HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE, IF BCG IS GONE THEN DONOVAN WOULD BE THE LOGICAL CHOICE, HE NEEDS UK AS MUCH AS WE NEED HIM. HE WOULD THRIVE HERE IN THE CULTURE OF UK BASKETBALL AND HE KNOWS WHAT IT MEANS AND WHAT IT TAKES. ENOUGH SAID…

KY would have to give him a guaranteed/no buy-out Saban- type contract. If not, Donovan is dumb. They are currently running a guy out that has only been there 2 years. You can't really consider it a "secure" job. If he's not immediately successful, they'll run him off too. Their fans may be worse than us about running coaches off.

— It has come to this again…..the talk around Lexington is that the focus for a potential new coach is all on Billy Donovan once again. From everyone that I have spoken with, the universal agreement is that the target is Donovan….it remains to be seen if it hit.

— And oh yeah, they still havent announced the future of Gillispie. While all assume he is gone, the announcement still is not official. Are the parties working on a buyout? Who knows at this point, but I am still told that we will know by tomorrow.

— A Gainesville newspaper has tracked a plane once again (you gotta love it) with stops on Wednesday in Gainesville, Lexington and South Bend. Make of that what you wish.

— It has been reported that Dave Baker told a Nashville radio station that it was official that Billy was gone. I spoke with DAve and he didnt say that, he just expressed his personal feeling that it was likely. Reports to the contrary are incorrect.

According to Katz, Foley said he would be shocked if Donovan left. That is more than enough for me, if Foley needs to adjust Donovan's contract again it will be done. This will not be about money, UF can match or exceed anything UK can throw at him.
